The History of a Meat Grinder

A meat grinder used to be something that was only seen in the livestock rows of old. Technology has played a role in making them popular items for the home and business use. Nowadays however, you can find these machines for sale which can cost anywhere between $300 and $600. They have evolved so that they can be used on a much larger scale.

You may wonder why so many people would want to invest in this type of kitchen especially when they have to merely purchase meat. The process of grinding meat is actually very similar to grinding wheat. In the olden days, people didn’t have this option so they had to make do with what they could get their hands on. What we observed is that this restaurant serves mainly families with toddlers and grandchildren and is their most popular location. Why is this? We observed that the father or mother along with the child(ren) and the family members all have snacks in their hands. Maybe you will get a surprise visit from the family members or perhaps business partners and you will have snacks to eat as well. In this case, it is important to observe the families and see how the children are getting along. observe as well how the adults are divided up. You will often observe that some adults will have their hands in the air like they recieve a motion sickness benefit and some others will have their hands on the table like they are waiting for someone to order for them.

 

It is important to observe as well the staffs of the restaurant. What do you notice? When you walk in, the waiter or waitress will be the first one to approach you. They will state the obvious, “Bon Appétit!” but when you get to know them a little better, you will discover, “hespao de pomoda” or “pomodori” which means “cut, round, or chops”.

 

Hand tossed rice is called, “smothered rice” and rice is normally eaten with your fingers, oyster or crab. However, on some noodles you will occasionally find a fork and knife included.

 

At some Chimichurri restaurants, you may find a “Chile de Arbol” which is a spicy sauce made of finely chopped jalapenos and onions. Other Chimichurri restaurants have been known to have a “Chile rellenos” dish that is kind of a sandwich and a hamburger. This is contrary to the general Chimichurri rules which require that the sauce be poured over the entire dish.

 

The traditional Chimichurri recipe can be prepared by anyone who is handy at cooking. Whenever you plan on a Chimichurri recipe, remember to check your ingredients carefully to make sure that you have everything that is needed. There are many other ingredients that you will need such as salt, peppers, and vinegar. But these are what you need to get started.
